1. Nature of Service

ME CABS AU operates as a platform connecting customers with independent drivers. Drivers are responsible for service delivery and operate under their own licences and insurance.

2. Bookings

• Bookings may be made via website, phone, or messaging platforms
• Confirmation means request received, subject to driver availability
• Bookings may be cancelled if service cannot be fulfilled

3. Accounts & Access

• Profiles may be created after booking
• Access via booking code, phone, or email
• OTP verification may be required

4. Pricing

• Fixed pricing applies
• Minimum fare: $45
• Changes only if customer modifies trip

5. Payments

• Accepted methods include card, PayID, Cabcharge, and cash
• Payment may be before or after trip
• Failed payments may restrict future bookings

6. Refunds

• Full refund if ME CABS AU cancels
• No refund after trip starts
• Other cases handled reasonably

7. Airport Transfers

• Customers must plan journey
• 3 hours before international flights
• 1.5 hours before domestic flights
• Not responsible for missed flights

8. Delays

We are not responsible for delays due to traffic, weather, system failures, or other external factors.

9. Liability

• Liability limited to amount paid
• No indirect or consequential damages
• Includes missed flights or business loss

10. Customer Responsibilities

• Provide accurate details
• Be ready on time
• Maintain respectful behaviour

11. Platform Control

• We may block users or drivers
• Applies in misuse, fraud, or safety issues

12. Lost Property

• Report within 24 hours
• Recovery depends on driver
• Customer may pay retrieval costs
• We are not liable for lost items

13. Corporate Accounts

Corporate clients may manage multiple users and billing options.

14. Rewards

Rewards such as ME Coins have no cash value and may be modified.

15. AI Bookings

Bookings via AI or automated systems are valid and binding.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
